This year's SAGE annual consultant's conference is coming up
in May and I have been asked to contribute to the Timeslips
Reporting sessions. SAGE would like to hear your reporting
requests!

requests/enhancements or questions so I can pass them along
for discussion at the conference.

Now for some exciting news for Timeslips users - The latest
CPA Technology Advisor "Readers Choice Awards" results have
been published and again,
SAGE Timeslips takes the lead as the most popular time
and billing program.
There are several more competitors to last year but SAGE
Timeslips still leads by a wide margin. You can

Insight: Whether professionals bill by the hour or
on a flat rate structure, practice management and time-based
billing systems can provide valuable insight into
productivity. Unfortunately, about half of our voters still
don't use such a system. The following stats are for those
who did report use of a program. |

There are a couple of very
helpful options that are sometimes overlooked under
the Generate Bills, Options button. |

Print Bill Summary Worksheet - By selecting this
option Timeslips will print a report, after all
invoices have finished printing, that gives you a
summary of each bill that was printed. This is a
handy report to show you what invoices were printed
and it also gives you a grand total of the billing. |

Separate PDF files for each client
- If you are thinking of going paperless this is
a great option. A separate PDF file will be created
on your network for each invoice, additionally this
is a good backup option for keeping copies of your
invoices, in the event the reprint bills feature
does not have the invoice you are looking for. |

|
|
|
|

To use this option you
will select the option to Print to PDF. It
is recommended that if you want to keep a
bill image in Timeslips as well as the PDF
that you also print the bills to the printer
as Timeslips will only keep a bill image for
those invoices printed to the printer. |

team at SAGE Software - Timeslips have
now confirmed that Timeslips version 2010 will run
successfully on the Windows 7 64-bit operating system.
Are you on the latest Service Release for your version of Timeslips?
You can check this by going to Help, About
Timeslips and verifying
the build number with the list below. If you are not on the latest
service release
let us know and we can assist you with downloading and
installation. |
