Welcome to the April issue of our newsletter.

It's that time of the year again! I am off to the US to attend the annual SAGE Insights Partner Conference.

This year the conference is being held in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center - the home of country music.

Please note that I will be away from Thursday 7th May until Monday 18th May 2009.

As we all know, Timeslips is a very feature-rich program. However some of these features are not used by the majority of Timeslips users. Perfect examples are the "Extra" and "Time Estimated" fields found on the slip entry screen.

If you need to capture information in these fields for reporting or other analysis, that's great. But if you are like most users, these fields just slow down the data entry process and cause confusion for end users.

It's a fairly simple process to disable these features, which will remove them from the slip entry screen. Later on, if you decide that you want the features back, just follow the same process to enable the features and turn them back.

Just a note that all stations, including service pack3, are operating with the new Timeslips 2009.

We have been using Timeslips since 1996. Timeslips has completely met our expectations and needs over that time.

Thanks for your quick response and help in solving our installation issues, I wish it was that easy every time we have to update other programs.

Timeslips 2006 and all lower versions are no longer supported by the manufacturer (SAGE US) and we encourage you to upgrade to the most current release in order to be eligible for support and to be compliant with new operating environments.
