As you would have heard on this morning's
news, Microsoft have just released their
new operating system - Windows 7. If you're yet to see it in
action, you can view videos of Windows 7

For those of you anxious to move to
Windows 7 please be aware that SAGE has only tested - and
therefore only supports - the following platforms for
Timeslips 2010:

I will certainly let you know when the
new operating system has been tested and assessed by SAGE as
a fully supported platform. When this occurs, support will
only apply to the latest version, that being Timeslips 2010.
If you haven't upgraded to Timeslips 2010
yet -
request an upgrade order form today and get up-to-date with
the latest version of Timeslips. Starting at $682.00 (incl
GST) for a Single User License.

Email Templates" |

|
|
When sending bills or statements by email, you can
now
include data tokens like the custom name or the
invoice number in the message's subject line.
By right clicking in the
Subject line you can select "insert
field data token", this then presents you with a
listing of data tokens available.
The token field is then inserted into the Subject
line.

Here are some of the common
shortcuts in Timeslips.
Many of these short cuts can be found on the drop-down
menus, but others are not documented.

T - Automatically
input today's date in any date field
F8 - Duplicate a field from the last
slip entry by pressing F8
SHIFT F4 - Spell check the entire
field
CTRL ++ - Increase the size of the
display font
CTRL F7 - Abbreviations
CTRL Z - Undo
CTRL X - Cut
CTRL C - Copy
CTRL V - Paste
CTRL DEL - Clear |

Quick Tip - Billing Status "Do Not
Bill" |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you change the Billing Status
on a time or expense slip to "DoNotBill"
Timeslips will bill the slip at $0.00 value and the
slip will not be displayed on the invoice.
